I made this blog for you.
So don't be an ungrateful lot -- leave comments.

Well… turns out that Momo’s weakness may be more of a concern than we had initially thought - as in not just exhaustion from one particularly rough day. After an additional dizzy / weak spell and doctor visit, blood was taken to see if perhaps Momoko may be anemic. In preparation for the possibility she is already taking iron suppliments.

In addition, we contacted her mother who has since come to stay with us, quite likely until some time after Akane is born. It is actually very refreshing to have the extra help in the house, because I can not only rest assured while at work that Momoko’s needs are being looked after properly, but that when I get home from a long day in the office (plus two hour commute - in total) I don’t need to do a lot of chores. I help more often than okaasan seems to like, but I am not going to have her do everything.

And even though I like Momoko’s cooking, I must confess that having her around to make meals all the time is also nice. Bad for my diet as she wakes entirely too much food, but good for my taste buds.

The other interesting point to having her around is that the house is no longer quiet. That woman is a machine. Always doing something, and always talking the whole time. This will be good experience for the impending lack of silence which will come to our house when Akane arrives, but still…

Anyway, my kidneys have been acting up again a bit lately, but I have been going crazy on the water intake, so that should hopefully be of some assistance. And overall, since Momoko has been getting a lot of bedrest I think that both she and Akane are going to be doing rather well. Momoko says that the baby has been getting much more active lately, and the biweekly doctor visits also indicate that she is still developing very well.

I’ll likely have another video to post later this week.
